Human Resources Intern

About the role

PT Aldmic Indonesia is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Intern to join our Human Resources department on a part-time basis. This role is based in West Jakarta, Jakarta and offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in human resources management, with a particular focus on industrial relations and employment law matters. As an intern, you will support our HR team in delivering effective people management solutions whilst developing a comprehensive understanding of employment legislation and best practices within the Indonesian business context.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and administration of employment contracts and HR documentation in compliance with Indonesian labour laws
• Support the coordination and organisation of HR meetings, training sessions and employee development programmes
• Help maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Assist with recruitment activities, including candidate screening and interview coordination
• Support the HR team in managing employee relations issues and grievance procedures
• Research and compile information on employment law updates and regulatory changes
• Provide administrative support to HR staff on various projects and initiatives

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Indonesian employment law and labour regulations, or demonstrated willingness to learn
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HR management systems
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive HR information
• Ability to work collaboratively with HR team members and other departments
• Strong ethical standards and professional conduct
• Previous HR or internship experience is preferred but not essential
