Human Resources Intern

About the role

The HR Generalist Intern will support the HR Department in various HR functions while gaining practical, supervised experience in day-to-day Human Resources operations. The internship is designed to provide exposure to the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, payroll familiarization, government compliance, labor law and statutory benefits, and training and development.

Key responsibilities

• Screening, background checking, interview sit-ins, job offers, requirements monitoring, and onboarding
• Labor law readings, DOLE guidelines, and statutory benefits familiarization
• Employee engagement and basic coaching exposure
• Payroll processing and compliance familiarization
• Shadowing SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other statutory filings
• Training preparation and conduct of one training session as the internship's culminating activity

About you

• Currently enrolled in BS Psychology, HR Management, Business Administration, or related course
• Required to complete OJT/Internship hours as part of the academic curriculum
• Preferably with an existing University/School Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
• Must be willing to comply with school internship requirements
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Willing to learn and work collaboratively
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality
