The Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team in Colombo. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical, hands-on experience across various areas of Human Resources.

As an HR Intern, you will support the HR team with day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, documentation, onboarding, training coordination, and other HR-related activities. You will work closely with the team and gain exposure to the different functions of HR within a technology-focused organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day HR operations and administrative activities.
• Support recruitment activities, including coordinating interviews and maintaining candidate records.
• Assist with employee onboarding and documentation.
• Support employee engagement and HR initiatives.
• Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Support the coordination of training and development activities.
• Assist with HR communications and other employee-related matters.
• Support the HR team with various projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field .
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, particularly in English .
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to work well with a team.
• Previous internship or exposure to HR is an added advantage.
• Interest in the software/technology industry is a plus.

Work Details:

Work Mode: On-site

Work Location: Bambalapitiya

Working Days & Time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
