Human Resources Intern

Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative Tasks

• Encode and maintain the employee database and ensure the accuracy of employee information.
• Respond to inquiries from interns and employees and provide assistance to candidates for job applicants.
• Organize, compile, and maintain employee 201 files.
• Monitor and manage HR-related emails and correspondence.
• Conduct interviews with internship candidates.

Timekeeping and Monitoring

• Calculate and update interns’ completed hours for the preceding week.
• Assist in aligning and monitoring employee work schedules.
• Monitor and organize HR forms to ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.

Additional Administrative Support

• Prepare and distribute meal stubs and maintain the weekly meal list for interns and employees.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Required to complete a minimum of 600 internship hours.
• Must comply with the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) provided by I’M Hotel and coordinate with the school for its completion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Detail-oriented, with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Possesses good time management and communication skills.
