Averis Sdn Bhd is a leading global business services provider based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, delivering integrated Shared Services solutions to major global enterprise partners.

We are currently looking for a passionate HR Intern to join our team. Depending on your interest and team allocation, you will gain hands-on experience and mentorship in either Talent Acquisition (end-to-end recruitment support, candidate scheduling, and sourcing) or Employee Engagement (internal communications, event planning, and workplace culture initiatives).

About the role

Talent Acquisition Intern

• Recruitment Support: Assist in drafting job descriptions, posting job ads across career platforms, and screening incoming resumes for entry-level to mid-level roles.
• Candidate Engagement: Coordinate and schedule interviews between hiring managers and candidates, conduct initial phone screenings, and ensure a smooth candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Employee Engagement Intern

• Event Coordination: Help plan, organize, and execute internal company events, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives to boost employee morale.
• Internal Communications & Feedback: Assist in creating internal communication materials (e.g., newsletters, announcements) and analyze employee survey feedback to identify key improvement areas.

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree programme such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field

• Keen interest in human resources, recruitment and talent management

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and take direction well

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry

• Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
