Role Description The Human Resources Manager will oversee end-to-end HR operations and people practices for Social Butter Consultancy’s on-site team in Delhi, India. This full-time role includes managing recruitment and onboarding, supporting workforce planning, and maintaining accurate HR records and documentation. The Human Resources Manager will design and implement policies, oversee performance management processes, and support employee engagement, well-being, and retention initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities also include managing payroll inputs and HR compliance, handling employee relations and grievance resolution, coordinating learning and development activities, and partnering with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals. The role requires close collaboration with department heads to foster an inclusive, high-performance culture that supports the agency’s growth. The HR Manager will be expected to oversee basic admin roles as well.

Qualifications

• Strong HR operations and administration skills, including recruitment, onboarding, HR documentation, and policy implementation.
• Experience with performance management, employee engagement programs, and talent development initiatives.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and make data-informed HR decisions.
• Proficiency with HRIS tools, spreadsheets, and basic reporting for HR analytics and workforce insights.
• Prior experience in an HR Manager or similar HR leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced, creative or agency environment.
