Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join TS Suites Seminyak, Bali, on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in shaping our organisational culture and driving human capital initiatives across our hospitality operations. As Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and programmes that support our business objectives whilst ensuring compliance with Indonesian labour regulations. This role reports to senior management and has significant impact on employee satisfaction, retention, and overall organisational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive human resources policies, procedures, and programmes aligned with company objectives and Indonesian labour law requirements
• Manage recruitment and selection processes, including job analysis, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees across all operational levels
• Administer compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements whilst maintaining budget control
• Lead performance management initiatives, including setting performance metrics, conducting appraisals, and developing performance improvement plans for employees
• Provide guidance and support to line managers on HR-related matters, employee relations issues, and disciplinary procedures
• Design and deliver training and development programmes to enhance employee skills, professional growth, and career advancement opportunities
• Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labour laws, employment regulations, and industry best practices in all HR functions
• Manage employee records, maintain HR information systems, and prepare HR reports and analytics for management review
• Handle employee relations matters professionally, including conflict resolution, grievance management, and contract negotiations
• Collaborate with operations teams to understand staffing needs and develop strategies that support business continuity in the hospitality sector

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in human resources management, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of Indonesian labour laws, employment regulations, and compliance requirements
• Strong expertise in Change Management, Training & Development, Talent Management and employee relations
• Proven experience in designing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programmes within a multi-site or complex organisational environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make data-informed HR decisions
• Fluency in both Indonesian and English is essential
• Experience managing diverse, multicultural teams in a hospitality setting is highly valued
