Job Summary

The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of Human Resources functions to support the organization’s strategic and operational objectives. This role plays a key part in developing HR initiatives, ensuring compliance with Malaysian employment legislation, driving talent management, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and offboarding.
• Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to ensure compliance with company standards and Malaysian employment laws.
• Lead the recruitment process by working closely with hiring managers to attract and retain suitable talent.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
• Advise management on HR-related matters, including employee performance, disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee payroll coordination, leave administration, attendance records, and other HR operational activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant learning initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports, workforce analysis, and other management reports as required.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and contribute to organizational development initiatives.
• Perform any other HR-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Sound knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and other relevant labor legislation.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with HRIS or payroll systems will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with stakeholders across all levels.
