Human Resources Manager

• Responsible for providing overall human resources strategy and support for aligning business objectives with employees and management. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resources related to issues and employee relations. Assesses and anticipates HR related needs, and acts as a business partner to the CEO and the leadership team in developing the organization’s strategic plan and ensuring adequate staffing as well as HR compliance with existing policy and/or statues. The position formulates partnerships within the designated areas of responsibility to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the company.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
• Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
• Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
• Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keep the strategy up to date.
• Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution.
• Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team.
• Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
• Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
• Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
• Maintain HR systems and processes.
• Conduct performance and salary reviews.
• Provide support and guidance to HR staff.
• Analyze trends in compensation and benefits.
• Design and implement employee retention strategies.

PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS:

• Proven experience and knowledge of payroll and employee benefits administration
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Detail oriented with high level of accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required.
• 5 plus year of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
• 3 plus years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations
• 3 plus years of experience in a supervisory role
• PHR./SPHR certification preferred.
• Excellent talent recognition skills

• Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritize work duties.
