HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Job Overview

• Position: Human Resources Manager
• Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
• Compensation: ₦350,000 Gross / Month
• Duration and Mode: Full time (monday-friday) and Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding Strategy

• Lead end to end urgent recruitment campaigns, including screening, interviewing, and selecting top tier talent.
• Redesign or optimize the existing onboarding framework to accelerate time-to-productivity for new hires.
• Issue formal job offers, draft executive employment contracts, and direct the orientation process.

2. Compliance, Documentation, and Record Audits

• Audit existing physical and digital personnel files to guarantee complete data integrity and confidentiality.
• Secure and vet all critical employee documents, certificates, reference checks, and guarantor forms.
• Identify and mitigate immediate compliance risks relative to Nigerian Labor Laws and workplace standards.

3. Payroll and Benefits Oversight

• Supervise and approve the consolidation of attendance metrics, timesheets, and leave logs.
• Direct the accurate computation, verification, and timely finalization of the monthly payroll cycle.
• Manage statutory deduction compliance (PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, TAX) and oversee staff benefit schemes.

4. Advanced HR Administration and Reporting

• Manage daily HR department operations and serve as an advisor to senior executive leadership.
• Build and deliver comprehensive monthly HR analytics reports covering attrition, headcount, and labor costs.
• Evaluate and update company handbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal policies.

5. General Support and Employee Relations

• Mediate internal employee grievances, manage disciplinary actions, and foster a productive work environment.
• Guide line managers on performance metrics and support urgent operational restructuring tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (professional certifications like CIPM, PHRi, or SHRM are highly valued).
• 4–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1–2 years serving in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• Previous Experience of working in the Real Estate Sector is highly welcome
• Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel for payroll analysis
• Demonstrated command over Nigerian Labor Law and statutory filing procedures.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, strategic problem solving, and negotiation skills.
• Able to commute to work regularly and work effectively
