About the Role

Our client, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support its multi-site distribution operation in the St. Louis market. This is a highly visible HR leadership role, partnering directly with operations leaders and serving as a trusted advisor to managers and union-represented employees alike, with a regular presence on the warehouse floor.

What You’ll Do

• Support a unionized workforce by interpreting collective bargaining agreements, advising leaders on labor relations, and partnering on grievance resolution and labor discussions
• Serve as a primary HR resource for employee relations, coaching, and performance management
• Lead workplace investigations and partner with Legal and Compliance when needed
• Guide leave of absence, ADA accommodations, and workers’ compensation processes
• Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and training initiatives
• Drive employee engagement and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

What You’ll Bring

• Required: experience supporting a unionized workforce in a distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics environment
• 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner
• Strong employee relations skills, including investigations, performance management, and coaching leaders
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEOC regulations
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus

Compensation and Location

• Up to $110K base + bonus
• Onsite in St. Louis, MO, 5 days per week
• Approximately 15% local travel
