Human Resources Manager

About the role

This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy, managing recruitment and selection processes domestically and internationally, and supporting current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Manage the recruitment and selection process domestically and internationally
• Oversee and ensure payroll processing is done in an accurate and timely manner
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
• Prepare overhead budget and manpower planning
• Implement HR records, attendance records, leave administration, disciplinary issues, staff welfare
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
• At least 6 years of working experience in the related field
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and verbal)
• Senior Executive specialized in Human Resources or equivalent
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and maintaining confidentiality
• Good knowledge in Employment Acts and other relevant statutory requirements
