Human Resources Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR leader to support business growth by connecting workforce initiatives with overall business objectives. This individual will work closely with leadership to strengthen organizational effectiveness, develop talent, improve employee engagement, and support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines strong HR expertise with business judgment, analytical thinking, and the ability to guide leaders through organizational challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR & Leadership Support

• Collaborate with department leaders to develop people strategies that support business goals and operational performance.
• Advise managers on workforce planning, employee performance, leadership development, and team effectiveness.
• Handle complex employee relations matters while balancing compliance, business needs, and employee experience.
• Work with Finance and Operations to forecast staffing needs, manage labor expenses, and support workforce budgeting.

Talent Development & Workforce Planning

• Implement and improve performance management, succession planning, and employee development programs.
• Support leadership decisions involving organizational structure, staffing strategies, and business expansion.
• Review workforce data, including retention, engagement, and recruiting metrics, to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Use HR analytics to help leadership make informed decisions regarding talent and organizational performance.

HR Programs & Organizational Change

• Manage HR projects and company-wide initiatives, including compensation programs, performance processes, and HR technology improvements.
• Lead change management efforts to support new policies, systems, and organizational initiatives.
• Develop initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, workplace culture, and inclusion.

HR Operations & Team Development

• Oversee HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, benefits, compensation administration, and policy implementation.
• Ensure HR practices are consistent, effective, and aligned with applicable employment regulations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to HR coordinators, generalists, and other team members.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of progressive human resources experience, including 3 or more years in a senior-level HR leadership role.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership to influence business decisions and improve organizational effectiveness.
• Strong understanding of workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management.
• Experience with HR budgeting, labor cost forecasting, compensation planning, and evaluating the business impact of HR initiatives.
• Ability to interpret workforce data and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills, including the ability to challenge decisions constructively.
• Demonstrated experience managing change and implementing HR programs in a dynamic business environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
• Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
