Human Resources Manager

Galt Ocean Rehab LLC is seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions in a growing behavioral health treatment setting. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, supporting staff, and building strong HR processes.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while partnering closely with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, DCF regulations, and employment laws
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
• Coordinate payroll and benefits administration (experience with ADP strongly preferred)
• Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
• Support audits, credentialing, and regulatory reporting
• Partner with leadership on hiring, performance management, and retention strategies
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all employees

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3–5+ years of HR experience (behavioral health or healthcare strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and employment law compliance
• Experience with ADP or similar HRIS/payroll systems
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing HR functions independently is highly preferred
