DESIGNATION: HR Operations Manager

LOCATION: Kurunegala District, Sri Lanka

PACKAGE: LKR 500,000 Gross

OVERVIEW:

The HR Operations Manager will oversee factory-level HR operations for a workforce of approximately 1,500 employees, ensuring effective workforce management, employee discipline, attendance control, and the smooth execution of day-to-day HR functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations within the factory.
• Manage employee absenteeism, attendance, and workforce availability effectively.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and general factory-level HR concerns.
• Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Support workforce planning and maintain employee discipline across the factory.
• Collaborate with factory management to resolve HR operational challenges and improve workforce efficiency.

PRE-REQUISITES:

• Currently working as an HR Manager ; Assistant Manager-level candidates will not be considered.
• A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in the apparel industry is preferred; candidates from other manufacturing industries will also be considered.
• Proven experience managing factory-level HR operations in a large workforce environment.
• Strong expertise in employee absenteeism management, employee relations, and general HR operations.
• Experience handling approximately 1,500 employees or a similarly large workforce is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and people-management skills.
