Human Resources (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and culturally aware Human Resources professional to join China Construction First Group Corporation Limited as a Human Resources (Mandarin Speaker). This full-time position is based in North Jakarta, Jakarta, and offers a unique opportunity to support our diverse, international workforce. As a Mandarin speaker, you will play a vital role in bridging communication gaps and fostering inclusive workplace practices across our organisation. This position is strategically important to our operations, enabling seamless HR processes and supporting our commitment to creating an engaged and motivated team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR support to Mandarin-speaking staff members, serving as a cultural and linguistic bridge between management and employees
• Facilitate recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates from Mandarin-speaking regions
• Manage employee relations matters and address concerns raised by Mandarin-speaking staff members with sensitivity and professionalism
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures across the organisation
• Assist with compensation and benefits administration, ensuring clear communication in Mandarin where required
• Coordinate training and development programmes, translating materials and facilitating sessions as needed
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, ensuring compliance with local regulations
• Contribute to the creation of an inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and promotes employee engagement
• Liaise between international teams and local operations to ensure effective HR service delivery

What we're looking for

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) and English, with excellent communication skills

• Proven experience in a Human Resources role, ideally in a multicultural or international organisation

• Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and organisational development principles

• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management

• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams

• Diploma or degree qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• Knowledge of Indonesian employment law and regulations is advantageous

• Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with the ability to navigate cross-cultural communication effectively

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
