Human Resources Officer

About the role

Delta Kappa Commerce Corporation is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Officer to join our growing HR team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our organisation's human capital objectives and ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across the company. As a Human Resources Officer, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and contributing to the strategic initiatives that drive our organisational success. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee engagement, workplace culture, and operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and new employee orientation
• Managing employee records, maintaining HR databases, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Assisting with the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Providing general employee relations support, including responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and facilitating conflict resolution
• Supporting the administration of payroll, benefits, and compensation programmes
• Organising and coordinating training and professional development initiatives for employees
• Assisting in the planning and execution of HR projects and employee engagement activities
• Maintaining HR documentation and ensuring accurate record-keeping in compliance with statutory requirements
• Supporting performance management processes and appraisal documentation
• Liasing with external parties such as government agencies, benefits providers, and recruitment agencies

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in a Human Resources role or similar administrative HR function, preferably in a commercial or corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of employment law, labour regulations, and HR best practices in the Philippines
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Proficient in MS Office applications and HR information systems or database management
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data privacy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent HR credentials is advantageous
