Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our school. As the Human Resources Officer, you will be responsible for assisting all aspects of human resources within the school, including recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Selection

Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, verifying references and making job offers.

Arrange and conduct onboarding and offboarding procedures, including visa applications and renewal and teachers’ certificate applications and cancellations.

Prepare and maintain HR records related to recruitment and staff movements.

Employee Relations and Guidance

Handle general enquiries from staff regarding HR matters.

Provide guidance and support to staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters

Assist in reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with Employment Ordinance and EDB requirements.

Assist in handling disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievances in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.

Maintain positive employee relations and support a collaborative work environment.

General Operations

Maintain accurate HR records.

Administer daily HR records, including attendance and leave records.

Administer employee benefits programs, including medical insurance, and MPF contributions.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the School.

Person Specification

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum three (3) years of HR-related experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related disciplines.

Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese, Putonghua and English.

Proficiency in Google Workspace, and database management.

Detail-minded, well-organized, polite, self-disciplined, independent, and responsible.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building a positive school culture.

Satisfactory criminal background check.
