Human Resources Officer

About the role

To lead the site to develop the agreed Company culture. To be proactive towards HR matters in the workplace, including but not limited to employee relations, recruitment, training programs, and support others to promote a healthy and safe workplace HR and maintain in conjunction with HR Manager all legislative compliance requirements under the authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality HR advice and support to managers and employees across a range of people and workplace matters.
• Coordinate and manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Facilitate employee inductions and ensure new employees are successfully integrated into the business.
• Administer and monitor probationary review processes, supporting managers with performance discussions and documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and legislative requirements.
• Monitor employee visa and work rights compliance and maintain relevant records.
• Support performance management processes, including coaching managers on employee performance, conduct, and development matters.
• Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.

About you

• Minimum qualification in HR or Safety (Cert 3 or 5); relevant tertiary education advantage
• Tickets relating to OHS and Safety

• 2-5 experience in OHS and HR role
