This is a full-time on-site role located in San Juan for a HR Officer and report direct to the HR Manager and/or the President.

Role Description

The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for:

• Managing the recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, disciplinary actions and employee relations of the organization's staff.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company protocols.
• Provide training like Inductions for new staff, Regulatory and others.
• Work closely with department managers to provide guidance and support on HR matters.
• Development of strategies to maintain a good work environment

Qualifications

· Students between the ages of 21 and 29 in their final year of studies, whether leading to an associate's, bachelor's, master's, doctorate, and/or technical course, or up to eleven months after graduation ceremonies have occurred.

· Knowledge of laws, regulations, and standards relevant to HR functions in Puerto Rico and US, is a plus

· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to handle confidential information, manage multiple priorities, and work independently

· Experience with HR Information Systems and Microsoft Office Suite, is a plus

· Professional certification in Human Resources, such as SHRM, is a plus

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
