Human Resources - Recruitment Assistant

About the role

As a Recruitment Assistant at Boss Cargo Express, you will take on new challenges, build strong talent pipelines, and gain meaningful experience in end-to-end recruitment, volume hiring, and salary negotiation within the fast-paced logistics industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination, job offers, and onboarding
• Source qualified candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, recruitment events, Manpower partnerships, and other sourcing channels
• Handle volume hiring for operational positions, particularly drivers, warehouse personnel, cargo associates, and other logistics-related roles
• Conduct initial interviews and assess candidates based on qualifications, experience, skills, and overall fit for the position
• Maintain and develop an active candidate pool to support current and future manpower requirements
• Coordinate interviews, assessments, requirements, medical examinations, and other pre-employment activities
• Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process and ensure a positive candidate experience
• Assist in preparing and extending job offers, including coordination and discussion of compensation packages
• Participate in salary negotiations with candidates while ensuring alignment with approved salary structures and company guidelines
• Work closely with Operations and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 2–3 years of experience in Recruitment, preferably within the logistics, transportation, warehousing, freight, or other high-volume hiring environments
• Proven experience in volume recruitment, particularly for rank-and-file and operational positions
• Exposure to salary negotiation, job offers, and compensation discussions with candidates
• Strong sourcing and candidate screening skills
• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple vacancies and recruitment priorities simultaneously
• Results-driven and comfortable working with recruitment targets and tight hiring timelines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google Workspace
• Willing to work in a fast-paced logistics environment and handle changing manpower requirements
