About Us

Our collaborative clinic family combines the strengths of two dedicated entities to deliver comprehensive pediatric care:

  • Prestige ABA Therapy Services, Inc. specializes in clinic-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children with developmental and neuropsychological differences.
  • Prestige Therapy, LLC provides specialized pediatric speech-language pathology and occupational therapy (SLP/OT).

Together, we foster an integrated, multi-disciplinary, and supportive environment for clinical professionals and administrative teams across Rhode Island. Position Summary.

The HR Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day human resources across our integrated organizations. This role features a hybrid work schedule, requiring a balance of in-office presence at our East Providence clinic and remote flexibility.

You will manage full-cycle employment operations—supporting our behavioral therapists, student analysts, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists from recruitment through compliance and retention.

Core HR Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Hiring: Sourcing healthcare talent, managing job postings, screening resumes, and executing comprehensive background checks.
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Welcoming new hires, processing employment paperwork, and leading company orientations.
  • Offboarding: Managing resignations or terminations, conducting exit interviews, collecting company property, and revoking system access.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Managing salary structures, health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off / sick leave (PTO), and open enrollment windows.
  • Recordkeeping: Verifying clinical hours, tracking attendance/leave, and maintaining highly confidential employee files.
  • Employee Relations: Mediating workplace conflicts, listening to employee concerns, and acting as a trusted link between staff and management.
  • Performance Management: Coordinating review cycles, assisting clinic director with feedback, and supporting promotions or performance improvement plans (PIPs).
  • Training and Development: Organizing job-specific training, compliance courses (CPR / BCI / DCYF clearances), and professional growth tracks (RBT certifications).
  • Compliance and Safety: Enforcing labor laws (such as FLSA, FMLA, and OSHA), updating employee handbooks and policies, and handling workplace safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on human resources experience, preferably within a multi-disciplinary healthcare, clinical, or ABA environment.
  • Remote Setup: Ability to work productively from home with a reliable high-speed internet connection during remote days.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with federal labor laws, PTO/sick time platforms, and specific Rhode Island healthcare compliance regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, high emotional intelligence, sharp organization, and absolute discretion with private clinical and employee files.

  • Competitive full-time salary
  • Hybrid work flexibility
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance benefits
  • Paid time off (PTO) and sick leave
