HUMAN RESOURCES SUPERVISOR

Job Purpose:

To provides assistance to the Chief Human Resources Officer in ensuring the productivity and efficiency of HR operations through the execution and monitoring of HR processes and procedures; and mentoring and provision of active support and guidance to direct reports.

Key Outputs:

• Overseeing recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Facilitating resolution of employee relations issues, such as conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinating and implementing employee training and development programs. May be asked to conduct standard soft skills development training.
• Monitoring and managing employee performance evaluation processes.
• Maintaining and updating employee records in ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Overseeing and ensuring accuracy of timekeeping and payroll processes.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with the immediate superior to address workforce planning and organizational development needs.
• Leading the preparation of HR-related reports and metrics for management review.
• Facilitating communication between employees and management to promote a positive work environment.
• Overseeing implementation of HR projects and initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
• Conducting exit interviews and analyze turnover data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Has over Seven years of hands-on experience in at least Three facets of Human Resources such as Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Training and Development. At least Two years of which in a supervisory capacity.

• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and local employment laws.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge in operating Payroll System and or HRIS is an advantage.

• Above-average communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in a medium sized organization, and knowledge of the Quality Management System are preferred.
