About the Role

We are seeking a talented and bilingual Human Resources Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker) to join our team at our facility in Klapanunggal, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our human resources operations and serving as a bridge between our Indonesian and Chinese-speaking teams. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring effective HR service delivery, facilitating cross-cultural communication, and contributing to a positive workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance management
• Facilitate communication and coordination between Indonesian and Chinese-speaking staff members and management
• Assist with the translation and localisation of HR policies, procedures and documentation
• Support the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination and onboarding of new employees
• Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR documentation in compliance with local regulations
• Coordinate employee engagement activities, training programmes and professional development initiatives
• Handle employee queries and concerns with professionalism and confidentiality
• Support payroll administration, leave management and benefits coordination
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies aligned with company values and Indonesian labour laws
• Contribute to workplace health, safety and wellbeing initiatives
• Prepare HR reports and analytics to support management decision-making

What We're Looking For

• Fluency in both Indonesian and Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) – this is essential for the role
• Proficiency in English is highly advantageous for communication with international colleagues
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an HR support or supervisory role
• Strong understanding of Indonesian labour laws, employment regulations and workplace compliance requirements
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships across all organisational levels
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle HR issues with discretion and confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling employee data and documentation
• Commitment to supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
