A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HUMAN RESOURCES/UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANT

Each day is different in the world of human resources and unemployment insurance. As a Human Resources/Unemployment Assistant, you play a supportive role in the function of Savio HR Solutions. You will be responsible for new client orientation, registering new clients with State Unemployment Insurance agencies and in Savio's database, conducting Unemployment Insurance claims investigations, researching HR and UI statutes and issues for clients, client invoicing, and maintaining Savio's database. You will assist the Director with marketing presentations and preparing materials for in-service training. You will conduct an initial unemployment claim investigation and promptly respond to claim inquiries. You will assist with auditing Savio members' monthly charge statements and quarterly and yearly management reports. You will review, research, modify, and write employee handbooks, policies, and procedures for our clients. You will also perform departmental administrative responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HUMAN RESOURCES/UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANT

• A Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, communications, or related field is required.
• Experience in human resources, or unemployment is preferred.
• Advanced in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Willing to travel as needed.
