HV Mechanic | $55 per hour | Morayfield, QLD
 
The Role
Working from a modern, fully equipped workshop, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining specialised brand new vacuum trucks and truck-mounted vacuum equipment. This role offers excellent opportunity to join an established company within Queensland service operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose and repair vacuum trucks and truck-mounted vacuum equipment
• Carry out preventative maintenance, inspections and pre-delivery checks
• Support rental fleet readiness, customer handovers and breakdown response
• Diagnose faults across hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems
• Repair and maintain vacuum pumps, water pumps, hose reels, valves, controls, pipework and associated equipment
• Perform fabrication, welding and equipment modification work as required
• Assist with fit-outs, upgrades and rectification work on new and used equipment
• Identify required parts and assist with parts ordering when necessary
• Complete job cards, service records and workshop documentation
• Maintain safe, clean and organised workshop practices
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal staff
• Provide technical support to external contractors when required
