HVAC, Hydronics & Heat Pump Estimator / Technical Sales

EffiQueenc USA is opening its new Tampa Bay location and is looking for an experienced professional for a versatile position combining estimating, technical support, and sales in the HVAC, hydronics, and heat pump industries.

This position may be a great fit for someone with a background in commercial HVAC and hydronics, as well as candidates with strong experience in pool heat pumps, residential heat pumps, or residential HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and estimates for commercial HVAC, hydronic, residential, and pool equipment
• Review customer requirements and recommend the appropriate equipment and technical solutions
• Perform heat pump and mechanical equipment selections
• Read and interpret mechanical plans, specifications, and equipment schedules when required
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals
• Support contractors, plumbers, HVAC installers, and professional customers
• Assist the outside sales team with technical projects and pricing requests
• Follow up on quotations, sales opportunities, and active projects
• Communicate with manufacturers and suppliers as required
• Participate in the development and growth of the new EffiQueenc USA location in Florida

Preferred Background

We welcome candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Commercial HVAC
• Hydronics
• Mechanical plumbing
• Mechanical estimating
• Heat pumps
• Residential air conditioning
• Residential heating
• Pool heat pumps
• HVAC equipment and parts sales
• Technical support for contractors and installers

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, hydronic, or heat pump equipment
• Technical sales experience preferred
• Experience in estimating, HVAC counter sales, or technical support is an asset
• Ability to understand customer technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
• Strong commercial awareness and customer service skills
• Ability to work with contractors, installers, engineers, and other industry professionals
• Good working knowledge of Excel and general computer tools
• Experience with HVAC selection software, estimating software, or CRM systems is an asset
• English required
• French is considered an asset

Compensation

Annual salary up to $93,600 USD, depending on experience, technical knowledge, sales background, and level of autonomy.

This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour work week.

Compensation will be adjusted based on the candidate’s background, whether in commercial HVAC, hydronics, residential HVAC, or pool heat pumps.
