Responsibilities

• Assist with testing and balancing commercial HVAC air and water systems
• Learn to use airflow meters, manometers, pressure gauges, and other testing equipment
• Measure and record airflow, pressure, temperature, and system-performance data
• Assist with adjusting dampers, diffusers, grilles, and HVAC components under supervision
• Read basic mechanical drawings, plans, and equipment schedules
• Maintain field notes, reports, tools, and testing equipment
• Follow all job-site safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Travel to customer job sites as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in HVAC, construction, or skilled trades
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Dependable, coachable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or on a team
• Comfortable working on ladders, in mechanical rooms, on roofs and on active job sites
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
• HVAC, construction, electrical, plumbing, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required
