We're looking for a motivated and dependable HVAC Apprentice to join our team in Pierre, SD. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow a long-term career in the HVAC industry.

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced HVAC Journeymen and skilled tradespeople, assisting with commercial HVAC installations while learning the tools, techniques, and skills needed to succeed in the trade.

What You'll Do

• Assist with the installation of commercial HVAC systems, including ductwork, equipment, refrigerant lines, and ventilation systems.
• Work alongside experienced HVAC Journeymen to complete installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, equipment specifications, and installation layouts.
• Support HVAC rough-ins, equipment installation, and system testing.
• Follow applicable building codes, safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Participate in hands-on training and develop technical skills through on-the-job experience.
• Help organize and maintain tools, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with team members and other construction trades to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the HVAC trade.
• Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and take direction from experienced technicians.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying job site conditions.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• Previous HVAC installation or construction experience.
• 1+ years of HVAC experience.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and installation practices.
