HVAC COST ESTIMATOR

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HVAC Cost Estimator with at least one year of experience in HVAC costing and preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

The successful candidate will prepare HVAC BOQs, compile tender costings, and submit tenders. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a sound understanding of HVAC systems and construction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Prepare detailed HVAC Bills of Quantities.

Ø Prepare tender costings and submit tenders.

Ø Obtain pricing from suppliers.

Minimum Requirements:

Education

Ø National Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field

Experience

Ø Minimum 1 year of experience as an HVAC Cost Estimator.

Ø Experience working on commercial, industrial, or residential HVAC projects will be advantageous.

Technical Skills:

Ø Proficient in Excel.

Ø Understanding of HVAC systems, including:

• Air Conditioning Systems
• Ventilation Systems
• Ductwork Design
• Chilled Water Systems
• Extract and Fresh Air Systems

Ø Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.

Remuneration

Ø Market related salary based on qualifications and experience.

Pay: R12 000,00 - R32 000,00 per month
