HVAC Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems including air conditioning, ventilation, exhaust, pressurization, and smoke management systems.
• Perform HVAC load calculations using industry-standard software.
• Prepare equipment selection and sizing for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, fans, ductwork, and piping systems.
• Develop HVAC layouts, duct routing, piping layouts, and equipment room plans.
• Prepare detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP/BIM.
• Generate HVAC schematics, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and pressure drop calculations.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Coordinate HVAC designs with electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NBC, IS Codes, local authority regulations, and project specifications.
• Review vendor submittals, technical data sheets, and shop drawings.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide engineering support during project execution.
• Assist site teams in resolving design-related technical issues.
• Optimize HVAC designs for energy efficiency, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–8 years of experience in HVAC design for MEP projects.
• Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, residential towers, industrial facilities, or data centers is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
