HVAC Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Design Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating HVAC systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and other building projects. The candidate should be capable of preparing HVAC designs, calculations, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and coordinating with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems including VRF/VRV, DX, Split, Package, AHU, FCU, Chilled Water and ventilation systems as applicable.
• Perform heat load calculations, cooling load calculations, ventilation calculations, duct sizing and pipe sizing.
• Prepare HVAC design drawings, schematic diagrams, duct layouts, piping layouts and equipment layouts.
• Develop BOQ, material specifications and technical specifications for HVAC works.
• Select suitable HVAC equipment based on project requirements and design parameters.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, coordinated drawings and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate HVAC designs with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and other MEP services.
• Ensure proper routing of ducts, pipes, cable trays and other services while maintaining required clearances.
• Review technical submittals, equipment datasheets and vendor drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors and vendors regarding technical requirements.
• Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and resolve design/site-related issues.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Review contractor work and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist in preparing tender documents, cost estimates and technical comparisons.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable IS, ASHRAE, SMACNA, NBC and project-specific standards.
• Maintain proper documentation of calculations, drawings, revisions and technical submissions.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
