HVAC Design Manager

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Review HVAC drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project requirements before execution.
• Supervise installation activities of HVAC systems including ducting, piping, equipment installation, insulation, and supports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other agencies for smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work completion as per approved drawings and project schedule.
• Conduct quantity verification and prepare material requisitions based on site requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, approved method statements, and safety procedures.
• Monitor subcontractors and manpower productivity at site.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Maintain daily progress reports, work records, and site documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical and execution-related issues at site.
• Ensure proper coordination with electrical, civil, and other MEP services.
• Support preparation of billing quantities and project close-out documents.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, chilled water piping, ventilation, and testing & commissioning.
• Understanding of drawings, BOQ, and project specifications.
• Familiarity with site execution practices and quality standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of project documentation and reporting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office preferred.
