HVAC Duct Installation Apprentice

We are seeking a reliable, experienced HVAC Duct Installation Apprentice to join our new construction team. You will assist lead installers with the installation of HVAC duct material and other installation needs while building your skills in the HVAC trade.

• Experience: You MUST have previous HVAC duct installation experience. This is an apprentice role, but it is not an entry-level position.
• Background check: You MUST be able to pass a thorough background check and motor vehicle record review. Criminal convictions, misdemeanors, felony records, DWIs, and related offenses are grounds for disqualification.
• Identification: You MUST be able to present ORIGINAL identification documents (no copies), such as a driver's license, Social Security card, or birth certificate.
• Transportation: You MUST have your own reliable transportation. Borrowed vehicles, Uber, ridesharing, or needing to be dropped off do not count as reliable transportation.
• Availability: You MUST be available Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to work overtime as needed. We depend on you, day in and day out.

Responsibilities:

• Install duct material on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Install copper refrigerant line sets and PVC drains.
• Work safely every day. Complacency, carelessness, and assumptions have no place here. We place the highest value on the safety of our personnel, with no exceptions.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Skills:

• Previous HVAC experience (required)
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Your own hand tools (required)
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Ability to handle a physically demanding workload
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• EPA certification (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40–50 per week
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed
