HVAC Ducting Foreman

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HVAC Ducting Foreman to lead site installation operations for a key project based in Tauranga.
In this leadership role, you will oversee day-to-day site installation activities, ensure ducting projects run smoothly, on schedule, and safely, manage site team workflows, and maintain high standards of installation quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise site installation crews and subcontractors.
• Manage daily site schedules, task allocation, and progress tracking to meet project milestones.
• Maintain strict quality control, compliance with mechanical specifications, and site health & safety standards.
• Coordinate material deliveries, site access, and equipment requirements with project managers and main contractors.
• Attend site meetings, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure all work adheres to NZ building standards.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven background and hands-on experience in commercial HVAC duct installation (sheet metal, spiral, flexible ducting, and ventilation systems).
• Proven experience in a Site Foreman, Leading Hand, or Supervisory role within the mechanical trade is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of site health and safety practices (Site Safe / ConstructSafe preferred).
• Excellent leadership, clear communication, and site organization skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and relevant trade tickets (e.g., Working at Heights, EWP).
