HVAC Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer with 8+ years of relevant experience in commercial building projects. The candidate will be responsible for HVAC site execution, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning and coordination with consultants, PMC, contractors and other MEP services. The role requires strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in executing HVAC systems from installation through successful commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

● Plan, supervise and execute HVAC works at site as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.

● Coordinate installation of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, ducting, piping and associated equipment.

● Review HVAC design drawings, shop drawings, coordinated drawings and technical specifications before execution.

● Coordinate with PMC, consultants, architects, structural teams, electrical teams and other MEP services.

● Supervise HVAC contractors and subcontractors and monitor manpower, productivity and work quality.

● Ensure proper installation of ducting, chilled water piping, insulation, supports, equipment and accessories.

● Monitor installation of HVAC equipment including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs and ventilation fans.

● Ensure proper duct fabrication, installation, leakage testing, insulation and air balancing activities.

● Monitor chilled water piping installation, pressure testing, flushing, insulation and commissioning.

● Conduct inspections and ensure HVAC works comply with approved drawings and quality standards.

● Identify site coordination issues and clashes and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.

● Check HVAC materials and equipment against approved specifications and material submittals.

● Monitor project progress and ensure HVAC works are completed within planned timelines.

● Coordinate testing, balancing and commissioning of HVAC systems.

● Review testing and commissioning reports and ensure rectification of defects.

● Assist in preparation and verification of BOQ, quantities, material requirements and contractor measurements.

● Maintain inspection requests, checklists, test reports, as-built drawings and handover documentation.

● Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on HVAC progress and technical issues.

● Ensure compliance with project safety, EHS and housekeeping requirements.

● Fresh air and treated fresh air systems.

● Testing, balancing and commissioning of HVAC systems.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
