Greenlink Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced HVAC Field Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership and technical oversight for our growing commercial HVAC division.

This is a field-based leadership position for an experienced HVAC professional who can lead technicians, keep projects moving, troubleshoot technical issues, ensure quality workmanship, and perform hands-on HVAC work when needed.

The HVAC Field Supervisor will work closely with the Production Manager and Operations Manager to ensure projects are progressing safely, efficiently, and according to scope, schedule, and Greenlink's quality standards.

A valid Mechanical License is required for this position.

Greenlink works extensively with Carrier HVAC equipment and is expanding our capabilities in high-efficiency HVAC, electrification, and energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions. We are seeking candidates with experience working with a variety of HVAC systems, including ducted heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and hybrid heating systems, as well as traditional commercial HVAC equipment.

What You'll Do

  • Provide day-to-day field leadership and technical support to HVAC technicians and crews.
  • Visit active job sites to monitor progress, quality, safety, and workmanship.
  • Ensure projects are progressing according to scope, schedule, plans, specifications, and Greenlink standards.
  • Identify field issues, material needs, technical challenges, and potential delays and communicate them proactively to management.
  • Perform hands-on HVAC installation, service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance as needed.
  • Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair heat pump systems, including high-efficiency electric heat pumps.
  • Troubleshoot commercial HVAC mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control systems as needed.
  • Provide technical direction and support to HVAC technicians and assist with complex troubleshooting.
  • Inspect completed and in-progress work to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Assist with startup, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
  • Review plans, scopes of work, equipment specifications, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Ensure crews have the tools, equipment, materials, and information needed to complete their work.
  • Support technician training, development, and mentoring.
  • Promote safety, accountability, professionalism, and quality throughout the HVAC team.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and other departments to resolve field issues and maintain project progress.
  • Document job progress, field conditions, completed work, deficiencies, and recommendations.
  • Serve as a positive example for the HVAC team by maintaining professionalism, respect, and a solutions-focused attitude. Work effectively with different personalities, navigate challenging interactions, and address concerns constructively without negatively impacting team morale or productivity.
  • Perform other HVAC-related duties as needed to support successful project completion.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret plans, scopes of work, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, and manufacturer documentation.
  • Ability and willingness to perform hands-on HVAC work in the field.
  • Previous Lead HVAC Technician, Foreman, Field Supervisor, or similar leadership experience required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide direction, coaching, and technical support to technicians.
  • Valid driver's license.

Licenses & Certifications
