Job Summary:

The HVAC Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair activities on construction projects. The role ensures that all HVAC works are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. The HVAC Foreman leads technicians and workers on site, assigns daily tasks, monitors productivity, coordinates with engineers and other trades, and ensures timely completion of work while maintaining proper workmanship and site safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimating labor costs for each project and making sure that they stay within budget limits
• Training employees in safe work practices and responding to safety concerns or accidents
• Coordinating with architects, engineers, or other construction professionals on projects that require HVAC work
• Training new employees on the company's policies and procedures for operations such as maintenance and repair work
• Reviewing equipment maintenance schedules and ordering supplies such as filters or oil
• Planning and supervising projects such as installing air conditioning units, heaters, humidifiers, and ventilation systems
• Reviewing energy usage data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Consulting with customers on new equipment purchases and maintenance agreements to determine which option best meets their needs
• Monitoring the performance of HVAC equipment to ensure that it is operating properly and efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Chilled-water systems
• AHU, FCU and FAHU
• VRVNRF and DX systems
• Chillers and pumps
• Ductwork and insulation
• Refrigerant piping
• Valves and control systems
• HVAC testing and commissioning

Drawings:

• Able to read and implement approved HVAC shop drawings, coordinated drawings and specifications

Manpower:

• Able to allocate and supervise technicians/workers according to work locations and activities.

Quality:

• Knowledge of installation standards, inspections, testing and commissioning.

HSE:

• Good knowledge of site safety requirements, PPE, work permits and safe work procedures

Communication:

• Able to coordinate with the HVAC Engineer, MEP Coordinator, other trades and subcontractors

Additional skills (preferred)

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma/IT! in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Engineering .
• 5 to 7 years in HVAC experience in UAE

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
