HVAC Install Technician

Southwest Cooling & Heating has been "Running on Trust Since 1980" in Southern Utah. We are owner-operated, independent of private equity, and dedicated to doing the job right. Because our dedicated sales process generates seven to nine sold jobs every single week, we are adding another installation team to handle our growing pipeline. The Opportunity

We are looking for an HVAC Install Technician to join a dedicated two-person crew. In this role, you will focus on high-quality residential and light commercial installations. You will have a guaranteed hourly floor so you never have to worry about slow weeks, plus a commission on every completed job. What Success Looks Like

On a day-to-day basis, you will partner with a Lead Installer to complete full residential replacements, furnace installations, heat pumps, and mini-splits. You will represent our 45-year reputation by keeping work areas clean, communicating clearly with customers, and ensuring the job is done correctly the first time. Over time, success means taking ownership of your projects, building trust with the team, and positioning yourself to step into a Lead Installer role within 6 to 12 months.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Technical capability: Familiarity installing residential and light commercial systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and mini-splits.
• Crew mindset: Ability to work seamlessly as part of a two-person team and complete defined tasks independently.
• Professionalism: A clean, professional appearance and respectful communication style suitable for customers' homes.
• Credentials: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Values: A strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and integrity. We value doing the job right over rushing to the next call.

Nice-to-Haves

• EPA 608 certification.

What We Offer

• Compensation: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year, paid via a hybrid hourly floor plus commission on every completed job.
