HVAC Install Technician

Position Overview

Aire Solutions is a family-owned and operated HVAC company that has proudly served Southeast Missouri for over 50 years. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated HVAC Installation Technician to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience installing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems, take pride in quality workmanship, and work well with others. We are looking for someone who values doing the job right the first time and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, including air conditioners, heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers, mini-splits, and related components.
• Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment safely and efficiently.
• Install and modify ductwork, refrigerant lines, condensate drains, venting, and other HVAC components.
• Perform brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, and refrigerant charging according to industry standards.
• Assist with new construction HVAC installations, including ductwork fabrication and installation.
• Perform system startups and verify proper equipment operation.
• Follow manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company installation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Properly maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Work alongside other installation technicians to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Identify installation concerns and communicate them to the installation lead or management.

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of HVAC equipment, electrical components, refrigeration, and airflow.
• EPA Section 608 certification preferred.
• Ability to read and understand installation instructions and basic wiring diagrams.
• Experience with sheet metal, ductwork, brazing, and refrigerant piping preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, technologies, and installation methods.
