EH Electric & HVAC LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer / Lead Technician to join our team. We provide electrical, HVAC, and plumbing services for residential and commercial customers and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, communicates well, and can lead installations from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, central air systems, air handlers, and related HVAC equipment.
• Install refrigerant piping, condensate drains, ductwork, and equipment supports.
• Complete system startup, testing, and commissioning according to manufacturer requirements.
• Diagnose installation issues and assist with service and repairs.
• Guide helpers and apprentices while maintaining a safe, organized job site.
• Coordinate with the office, customers, contractors, and other trades.
• Document job progress, material needs, and remaining work.
• Deliver clean, professional installations and explain system operation to customers.

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC installation experience and the ability to lead a job independently.
• Experience with heat pumps and ductless systems preferred.
• EPA Section 608 certification appropriate for assigned work.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record suitable for operating a company vehicle.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
• Dependable attendance, attention to detail, and a willingness to keep learning.
• Relevant trade licenses or certifications are a plus.

Work Location

Based in Waltham, with travel to job sites throughout Eastern Massachusetts and the Cape.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
