About AIM Service Group

AIM Service Group is a growing HVAC company focused on quality workmanship, dependable service, and doing the job right the first time. We are looking for a motivated HVAC Installer with 1–5 years of hands-on experience who is ready to continue developing their skills and become a strong member of our installation team.

This position is ideal for someone who has experience with residential HVAC installations and changeouts but is not yet a lead installer. You will work alongside experienced installers, gain additional technical knowledge, and develop the skills needed to advance in your HVAC career.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform hands-on residential HVAC system changeouts and installations.
• Help remove existing equipment and install new air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, and related components.
• Install refrigerant line sets, condensate drain lines, thermostats, and HVAC accessories.
• Assist with ductwork modifications, transitions, plenums, and system connections.
• Install auxiliary drain pans, float switches, surge protectors, and other required accessories.
• Use HVAC tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Assist with pressure testing, evacuation, refrigerant charging, startup, and system commissioning under the direction of the lead installer as appropriate.
• Follow installation checklists, company procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe while protecting customers’ homes.
• Take required installation photos and complete job documentation.
• Communicate with the lead installer and team regarding materials, job progress, and installation issues.
• Help ensure every installation meets company quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of hands-on HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Residential changeout or new installation experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of HVAC equipment, refrigerant piping, ductwork, and condensate drainage.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and common HVAC installation equipment.
• Willingness to learn advanced installation procedures and improve technical skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a lead installer.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift HVAC equipment and work in attics and outdoor conditions.
• EPA Section 608 certification preferred, with required certification for applicable refrigerant-handling duties.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
