HVAC Installer Helper

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated HVAC Installer Helper to join our team. We are looking for applicants who would fit into an entry-level/trainee position or a seasoned installer. As an Installer Helper, you will assist the lead HVAC installer with the installation and replacement of heating and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial buildings, and industrial settings. The helper works under the direct supervision of the lead installer to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards. Duties

• Assist the lead installer with HVAC equipment installations and replacements in accordance with local codes and the International Building Code (IBC).
• Install ductwork, refrigerant lines, thermostats, electrical connections, and drainage systems as required.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
• Use tools such as drills, saws, tin snips and other installation equipment to effectively and efficiently install mechanical equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Execute/Learn frame carpentry skills as they relate to mechanical installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Previous HVAC or construction experience is helpful but not required.
• Understanding of IBC standards is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in the mechanical trade.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
• A valid driver’s license may be required based on job location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
