HVAC Level 1/2 Service Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Level 1/2 Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, electrical diagrams, and building automation system controls to accurately troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults within electrical systems.
• Install new HVAC equipment and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation of repairs performed for quality assurance and compliance purposes.
• Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building upkeep.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about system issues, repair procedures, and maintenance recommendations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on HVAC/R systems; construction experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC equipment such as air conditioners, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, HVAC design plans, and building automation system diagrams effectively.
• Familiarity with electrical diagnostics tools including ohmmeters and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications is desirable.
• Experience with HVAC system installation, maintenance procedures, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC or property maintenance are advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; van driving experience preferred.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
