Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems within commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and system efficiency through proactive maintenance and expert troubleshooting.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems including heating, air conditioning units, and boilers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems repair needs or equipment replacement recommendations.
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and logs to document all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and recommending preventative maintenance solutions.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including EPA regulations for refrigerants and proper handling of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience combined with a maintenance technician background in HVAC or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical systems, and mechanical systems repair.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments essential for equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical schematics accurately and interpret electrical diagrams for diagnostics or the ability to learn to do this.
• Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R are preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
