Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated HVAC/Plumber Helper to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will assist skilled technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and related mechanical equipment. Duties

• Assist experienced HVAC technicians and plumbers in installing new systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment
• Support routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system inspections, and minor repairs
• Help interpret schematics and technical diagrams to aid in system troubleshooting and installation processes
• Carry tools, parts, and equipment to job sites safely and efficiently
• Participate in field service activities including appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration), and property maintenance tasks
• Assist with welding, equipment repair, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues
• Follow safety protocols during all operations and maintain a clean work environment
• Helping other journeyman with jobsite tasks, and duties.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of construction principles and mechanical systems preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn service technician skills related to HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and appliance repair
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams with guidance
• Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC design, ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and general equipment repair
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle is a plus
• Familiarity with field service procedures including property maintenance tasks
• Ability to use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments like ohmmeters
• Strong work ethic with excellent teamwork skills; motivated to develop expertise as a mechanic or technician in HVAC/R or plumbing fields

Pay: $12.50 - $35.00 per hour
