Hvac Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems in accordance with project requirements, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
• Prepare, review, and approve technical documents, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Oversee HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Evaluate system sustainability and recommend energy-efficient solutions.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding project requirements and progress updates.

Key Tasks and Duties

• Utilize HVAC engineering software for system design, modeling, and simulation.
• Perform cooling load, heating load, and energy calculations.
• Coordinate procurement of equipment, materials, and subcontractor services.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes,and project specifications.
• Troubleshoot HVAC system issues during installation, testing, and post-commissioning stages.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in HVAC design, project engineering, or project management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in HVAC design and engineering software.
• Good project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
