Durfee Plumbing & Heating has served Cape Cod since 2008. We’re looking for a motivated HVAC sales professional to meet with homeowners, recommend heating and cooling solutions, prepare proposals, and close installation and replacement projects.

This position is part-time to start, with in-home consultations, site visits, and customer follow-up throughout Cape Cod.

What you’ll do:

• Meet with homeowners to understand their comfort concerns, equipment needs, and budgets.
• Evaluate existing equipment and site conditions, coordinating technical requirements with our installation team.
• Present options for heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, central air conditioning, furnaces, and boilers.
• Prepare clear, accurate proposals and explain equipment features, warranties, and available financing.
• Follow up on estimates, answer questions, and guide customers through the purchasing process.
• Build referral relationships and develop additional sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer records and provide complete project details to the installation team.

What we’re looking for:

• HVAC sales experience preferred. Experienced HVAC technicians interested in moving into sales are encouraged to apply.
• A solid understanding of residential heating and cooling systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills.
• An organized, self-motivated professional who manages appointments and follows through.
• Comfort using estimating software, customer management systems, and mobile technology.
• ServiceTitan experience is helpful but not required.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Cape Cod.
• A commitment to honest recommendations and excellent customer service.
