HVAC Service & Install Technician — Biloxi, MS

Full-time contractor to start | $25–$35/hour depending on experience, plus commission | Path to employee status

The Opportunity

We're a fast-growing heating and cooling company on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with a strong reputation, great reviews, and more work than we can get to. We're looking for a technician with their own truck or van who's ready to stay busy and get paid for it.

Who We're Looking For

We need someone who can do service, installs, or both — tell us where you're strong and we'll build the role around it.

• Strong on service? Great. We have steady service and repair volume, and you'll stay busy year-round.
• Strong on installs? Great. We have changeouts and new systems booked out and need someone who can run a job.
• Can do both? That's ideal, and it's what we'll pay at the top of the range.

We'd rather hire the right person and shape the work than pass on a good tech because they only check one box.

You'll Need Your Own Vehicle

This is a truck-based role. You'll need a reliable work truck or van you can carry tools and materials in and get to job sites in. If you've already got your own rig set up the way you like it, this role is built for you.

What The Work Looks Like

On the service side:

• Diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems
• Electrical and refrigerant troubleshooting, component replacement
• Maintenance and system tune-ups
• Explain the problem and the fix to the customer in plain English

On the install side:

• Complete changeouts — pull the old system, install the new one
• Furnaces, air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, mini-splits
• Duct fabrication, plenums, transitions, line sets
• Braze, pull vacuum, weigh in charge, start up and commission
• Run the job with a helper when the work calls for it

Requirements

• Your own reliable work vehicle
• EPA Section 608 certification
• Real hands-on HVAC experience — you can work a call or an install without someone standing over you
• Your own hand tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug test
• Able to lift 50+ lbs, work in attics and crawlspaces, and handle Gulf Coast summer heat
• Reliable, on time, and professional with customers

Pay

• $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience. Bring us your background and certifications and we'll make you a real offer. Techs who can run both service and installs land at the top of the range.
• Plus commission on jobs — when you produce, you make more. We'll walk you through exactly how it works on the first call.
• Starting as a 1099 contractor, with the intent to move the right person to employee status as we grow. We're telling you that honestly instead of promising benefits we don't offer yet.
• Steady, year-round work. We're not slow, and we're not seasonal.
