Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented HVAC Service Manager to lead our service team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate service activities, and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service. Your expertise in HVAC systems, mechanical systems repair, and troubleshooting will drive success and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of service technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of HVAC system repairs, installations, and maintenance.
• Oversee diagnostic processes including electrical diagnostics, refrigeration troubleshooting, and equipment repair to identify issues accurately.
• Manage service schedules, prioritize work orders, and allocate resources effectively to meet customer needs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations such as EPA certifications.
• Provide technical guidance on complex projects involving HVAC design, schematics interpretation, building automation systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical systems repair.
• Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, equipment repairs, maintenance records, and safety reports.
• Foster excellent customer relationships through clear communication, professional service delivery, and prompt issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction or HVAC service technician roles with a strong understanding of HVAC system repair and installation.
• Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration if applicable.
• Mechanical knowledge encompassing boiler operation, air conditioning systems, mechanical systems repair, and HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning/Refrigeration).
• Skilled in using hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
• Experience with building automation systems and electrical systems is highly desirable.
• Valid EPA certification required; additional certifications related to HVAC/R or refrigeration are a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining safety standards.
• Valid van driver’s license preferred for on-site inspections or equipment transport.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
